Doha: Qatar's Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on Wednesday received former Progressive Socialist Party leader Walid Jumblatt and his accompanying delegation at Lusail Palace in Doha. The delegation included Taymour Jumblatt and MP Hadi Aboul Hosn. Discussions focused on the latest developments in Lebanon and the region, efforts to address ongoing challenges, reduce tensions and bring an end to the war in Lebanon and the wider region.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, Jumblatt praised Qatar's diplomatic and political efforts under the leadership of Emir Tamim to promote regional security and stability. He also commended Doha's continued support for Lebanon and its longstanding political, economic, and developmental assistance, highlighting the strong fraternal ties between the two countries.
