Accra:Public Works and Transport Minister Fayez Rasamny held discussions with Bassam Tleis, the official responsible for municipal and mukhtar affairs for the Amal Movement and head of the Land Transport Unions and Syndicates, regarding several transportation initiatives. The talks focused on development projects spearheaded by the ministry, the regulation of airport taxi services, and the expansion of public transport along the Chtaura-Baalbek-Hermel route.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, the discussions highlighted the importance of bolstering cooperation between the public and private sectors in public transport. They also stressed the need to complete necessary preparations quickly to move the project towards implementation.

The meeting underscored the importance of enhancing transport services to better meet the needs of citizens.
