Beirut: Public Works and Transport Minister, Fayez Rasamny, on Thursday held a meeting with MP Sajih Attieh, Chair of the Parliamentary Committee on Public Works, Transport, Energy, and Water. Attieh was accompanied by MPs Mohammad Sleiman and Abdel Aziz El-Samad.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, discussions reportedly focused on accelerating key infrastructure initiatives in North Lebanon, with a particular emphasis on road rehabilitation and maintenance in the Akkar Governorate. The delegation also stressed the strategic importance of reactivating Ren© Moawad Airport in Qlayaat, citing its potential to spur economic growth and regional development.
