Beirut: Minister of Public Works and Transport, Fayez Rasamny, on Thursday welcomed United States Ambassador to Lebanon, Michel Issa, with whom he discussed the general situation and the latest developments, as well as ways to further strengthen bilateral cooperation in the transport and infrastructure sectors.

According to National news agency – Lebanon, the meeting also addressed a number of files related to the sectors overseen by the ministry, in addition to the measures being implemented to enhance transparency, improve operational performance, and elevate the quality of public services.

Both sides underscored the importance of maintaining coordination and cooperation in a manner that supports Lebanese state institutions and contributes to the development of vital sectors, while reaffirming the strength of Lebanese-US relations, and the need to further advance them across various fields.
