Researcher: Climate change triggering new migration from Middle East

Global warming will hit the Middle East and North Africa particularly hard and trigger new waves of refugees, according to German climate researcher Jos Lelieveld. The region has become a hotspot of climate change and is warming up much faster than other areas, the director of the Max Planck Institute for Chemistry in Mainz told dpa.
