Beirut: Energy and Water Minister, Joe Saddi, on Thursday received US charg© d'affaires in Lebanon Keith Hanigan at the ministry, where discussions focused on Lebanon's energy sector and the gas file.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the meeting aimed at exploring avenues for collaboration between Lebanon and the United States in the fields of energy and gas. Both parties exchanged views on potential initiatives and projects to enhance Lebanon's energy infrastructure and address challenges in the sector. They considered strategies to improve the efficiency and sustainability of energy resources in Lebanon.

The discussions also encompassed the gas file, with emphasis on exploring opportunities for gas exploration and development. The meeting underscored the importance of international cooperation in facilitating advancements in Lebanon's energy capabilities.
