Beirut: Prime Minister Nawaf Salam strongly condemned today's attack on members of the French battalion in UNIFIL in a post on the "X" platform. He emphasized the importance of addressing the incident promptly and ensuring accountability.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Salam stated, "I have given strict instructions to conduct an immediate investigation to uncover the circumstances of this attack and hold the perpetrators accountable." He expressed concern over the impact of such actions, noting that "this irresponsible behavior inflicts great harm on Lebanon and its relations with friendly and supportive countries around the world."
