Beirut: Prime Minister Nawaf Salam on Thursday met Energy and Water Minister Joe Saddi to discuss Lebanon's electricity plan and the outcome of Salam's visit to Iraq. The talks focused in particular on matters related to the oil installations in the northern city of Tripoli.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the meeting underscored the importance of reinforcing Lebanon's energy infrastructure. The discussions were centered on enhancing the efficiency and reliability of the electricity supply across the country. Additionally, the officials examined the potential for increased collaboration with Iraq, following Salam's recent visit, to secure a more stable energy supply.
