Beirut: Prime Minister, Nawaf Salam, on Tuesday met with Finance Minister Yassine Jaber and Public Works and Transport Minister, Fayez Rasamny, with whom he reviewed a comprehensive plan addressing the maritime properties file and increasing state revenues.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Minister Rasamny presented a strategy that includes a full review of encroachments, collection of unpaid fees, and reassessment and revaluation of the per-square-meter pricing.

Salam stressed the need to expedite the issuance of collection orders for both registered and unregistered occupants to ensure swift implementation and reinforce public revenue recovery.
