Beirut: Prime Minister Nawaf Salam on Thursday received a delegation from Notre Dame University-Louaize, headed by Abbot General Edmond Rizk of the Mariamite Maronite Order.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, following the meeting, NDU President Father Bechara Khoury expressed gratitude to Salam for agreeing to sponsor and attend the university's graduation ceremony. Khoury emphasized that the ceremony comes at a pivotal moment for Lebanon, highlighting the university's role as an integral part of the national fabric.

Khoury noted that Notre Dame University was not just an educational institution but a key player in the country's development. He stressed the importance of the university's contributions to rebuilding Lebanon and shaping its future, reaffirming its commitment to the nation's educational investment as crucial for its progression.
