Beirut: Prime Minister Nawaf Salam is currently meeting at the Grand Serail with U.S. General Joseph Clearfield, head of the Cessation of Hostilities Monitoring Committee (Mechanism). He is accompanied by U.S. Charg© d’Affaires Keith Haningan and a delegation from the U.S. Embassy.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the discussions are expected to focus on maintaining stability in southern Lebanon and strengthening coordination within the framework of the Mechanism’s mandate.
