Salam Orders Immediate Follow-Up After Lebanese Pilgrims’ Bus Crash in Syria

Beirut: Prime Minister, Nawaf Salam, on Wednesday said he had instructed Deputy Prime Minister Tarek Mitri to contact the relevant Syrian authorities following the deadly bus crash involving Lebanese Umrah pilgrims in the Daraa region.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Salam said the aim is to monitor the condition of the injured and ensure they receive the best possible medical care. He also tasked the head of the Central Operations Room at the Prime Minister's Office, Zahi Chahine, with following up on the incident on the ground.
