Salam Visits Kfarshouba to Emphasize Support for Local Resilience

Kfarshouba: As part of his south tour on Sunday, Prime Minister Nawaf Salam arrived in the town of Kfarshouba amid a massive reception from the residents of the Arqoub region, with wide participation from local and social figures, along with a number of MPs, heads of associations, and civil society institutions. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Salam addressed the attendees by recognizing Kfarshouba as a symbol of resilience. He highlighted the longstanding challenges faced by the people of Arqoub, including aggression, deprivation, and neglect. Salam emphasized that the residents have established rights from the Lebanese state and acknowledged the destruction that has affected the region. Salam articulated that supporting the resilience of the people of Arqoub is a fundamental priority in the government's work. He mentioned well-studied projects currently under follow-up, notably the Khan Market - Shebaa road, which holds significant importance for the local population. He also pointed out ongo ing efforts related to the sewage infrastructure and the completion of rehabilitation and restoration of public schools to ensure a conducive educational environment for students in the south.
