Tripoli: Prime Minister, Nawaf Salam, on Monday wrote on X platform that he visited Tripoli to reaffirm that the city “is not alone,” stressing the government’s commitment to addressing urgent local challenges. Salam said he conducted a field inspection ahead of a scheduled meeting at the Grand Serail aimed at developing a comprehensive solution to the issue of structurally unsafe buildings. He also visited survivors in hospitals to check on their health.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, referring to the continued Israeli airstrikes on southern Lebanon, the prime minister said his “heart is also with the South,” adding that he plans to visit the region soon to announce a package of reconstruction projects to be launched as quickly as possible under a World Bank loan.
