Beirut: Culture Minister, Ghassan Salameh, on Thursday received Spain's newly appointed ambassador to Lebanon, Miguel Mara de Lucas Gonz¡lez, at the National Library in Beirut. The meeting highlighted the importance of cultural cooperation between the two countries and explored avenues for enhancing bilateral relations.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the discussions were described by the ambassador as "excellent" and "productive." The dialogue focused on collaboration among Mediterranean cultural cities and included plans for exchanges involving Phoenician heritage groups from both nations. Additionally, efforts to strengthen ties between cultural institutions were a central theme. A potential visit by Minister Salameh to Spain was also discussed, aimed at further deepening cultural and bilateral cooperation.
