Beirut: Minister of Culture, Dr. Ghassan Salameh, represented the President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, and the Prime Minister, Judge Nawaf Salam, at the funeral of the late Dr. Laila Farid Badoura. The ceremony took place at the Evangelical Church in downtown Beirut and was attended by notable figures from the political, educational, cultural, and social sectors.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Dr. Laila Farid Badoura, who was decorated with the National Order of the Cedar with the rank of Commander, was the widow of the late Charles Tanios Saad. Saad was a former Member of Parliament for Beirut and a distinguished educator. Dr. Badoura was also the former President of the International Schools of Choueifat and the SABIS Group, leaving a significant legacy in the field of education.
