Security Update: Israeli Airstrikes, Artillery Shelling Target South Lebanon Earlier Today

Beirut: Israeli airstrikes and artillery shelling hit multiple locations in south Lebanon earlier today: Israeli warplanes carried out strikes earlier on Tuesday on the Rayhan heights in the Jezzine area. Overnight, Israeli aircraft also struck the town of Kfara, the outskirts of Kfardounine toward Deir Kifa, and a house on the main road in Kfara in Bint Jbeil district. Israeli artillery shelling additionally targeted the Arid Dbine area in Marjayoun district.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, these strikes and shelling were part of a series of operations conducted by Israeli forces in the region. The targeting of Rayhan heights in Jezzine and multiple locations across Bint Jbeil and Marjayoun districts indicates a concentrated effort to address security concerns in these areas. The impact of these operations on local infrastructure and civilian life is yet to be fully assessed.
