Security Update: Israeli Airstrikes, Shelling Target Several South Lebanon Towns; Casualties Reported

Baabda: Israeli warplanes on Thursday carried out a series of airstrikes targeting several towns in south Lebanon, including Khirbet Silem (al-Dabsha and al-Arid areas), Kfarreman, Toul, Harouf, Kounine, and Qlail© south of Tyre, as well as the area between Tebnine and Safad al-Battikh. An airstrike on the town of Maarakeh killed three people and wounded several members of a displaced family. In Tyre, a strike caused significant damage, including heavy destruction to the Tyre District Health Center.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, additional strikes targeted Taybeh, Kfartabnit, and the vicinity of the Vehicle Registration Authority building on the Tabline-Habboush road in Nabatieh. Artillery shelling with phosphorus rounds also hit the town of Khiam, which remained under continued bombardment.
