Beirut: Israeli air and drone strikes earlier on Wednesday targeted multiple areas across southern Lebanon, leaving at least 13 people dead, including four members of one family in Jbaa and five in Ansariyeh, with additional casualties reported in Qadmus.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, in Jbaa, a strike on a home killed a man, his wife, their son and his wife. Civil defense teams later recovered four bodies and three wounded from a strike on a residential complex in Qadmus.
Strikes also hit Braachit, Sawaneh, Bableh, Siddiqine, Nabatieh al-Fawqa and areas along the Litani River, while vehicles were targeted in Jiyyeh and Saadiyat.
Artillery shelling also struck the outskirts of Bint Jbeil, and homes were blown up in Hanine as bombardment continued across the region.
