Beirut: The media office of former Prime Minister Fouad Siniora has issued a statement categorically denying any connection to individuals identified as Abu Omar and Sheikh Khaldoun Armit.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the statement addresses recent claims circulated by some media outlets. These claims allege that Siniora was involved in communications reportedly mediated by Sheikh Khaldoun Armit, which included political promises and contacts with Abu Omar.

The media office emphasized that all reports suggesting any connection between Siniora, Sheikh Khaldoun Armit, and Abu Omar are without merit. The statement labels these allegations as fabricated, baseless, and fictitious, seeking to clarify the former Prime Minister's position on the matter.
