Ain el-Tineh:House Speaker Nabih Berri met with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas, alongside EU Ambassador to Lebanon Sandra De Waele and Berri's Media Advisor Dr. Ali Hamdan.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, the meeting focused on the situation in Lebanon and the broader region, discussing political and security developments amid ongoing violations of the ceasefire by Israel, which include daily attacks on southern villages and towns. The dialogue also covered Lebanon's relations with European Union countries and the potential role of the EU in aiding Lebanon, particularly in reconstruction efforts and supporting the presence of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL).

Additionally, Speaker Berri met with US Senator James Paul Lankford in Ain el-Tineh, accompanied by US Ambassador to Lebanon Michel Issa and other delegates. Discussions included the general situation in Lebanon, regional political developments, and bilateral relations.

During his talks with Lankford, Berri emphasized that Israel has consistently failed to comply with multiple agreements, including Resolution 425, Resolution 1701, the November 2024 agreement, and the trilateral framework agreement. He stressed that the core issue remains Israel's non-compliance with these obligations.
