SUDANESE SECURITY FORCES FIRE TEAR GAS TO DISPERSE PROTESTERS IN KHARTOUM

Sudanese security forces fired tear gas at thousands of protesters near the presidential palace in central Khartoum, AFP reported on Sunday.

Thousands of Sudanese went out to participate in the “Million Martyrs” protest to demand civilian rule and condemn the bloody violence against last week’s protests which left six people dead.
