Beirut: Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tariq received Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi at Al Baraka Palace.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the meeting discussed developments in the region, mediation efforts, and initiatives aimed at ending ongoing conflicts. The Sultan was briefed on Iran's views regarding recent regional developments, while the Iranian foreign minister listened to Oman's perspective on ways to advance efforts toward sustainable political solutions and reduce the impact of regional crises on populations.

Both sides emphasized the importance of prioritizing dialogue and diplomacy in addressing regional issues so as to strengthen peace. For his part, Araghchi expressed Iran's appreciation for Oman's position, under Sultan Haitham's leadership, in supporting dialogue efforts and promoting security and stability in the region amid current regional challenges.
