Damascus – The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates welcomed the content of the Algeria declaration emanating from the “Reunification Conference for Achieving Palestinian National Unity”.

In an issued statement on Sunday, the Foreign Ministry said: “Syria believes that the meeting is in the interest of Palestinian unity and boosting the strength of the Palestinian people in resisting the Israeli occupation, leading to the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on Palestine’s land with Jerusalem as its capital.”

The Syrian Foreign Ministry also expressed its appreciation and support for the initiative of Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, which was the basis for this declaration, and the positive impact on the Palestinian arena.
