Beirut: Following his meeting with House Speaker Nabih Berri in Ain al-Tineh, Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani stated that the discussions centered on enhancing the relationship between Lebanon and Syria. He clarified that the topic of Hezbollah was not brought up during their talks.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, Al-Shaibani addressed inquiries regarding the likelihood of engaging with Hezbollah. He remarked, "If the interest requires a meeting with Hezbollah, we are open to it," but emphasized that his recent dialogue with Berri was solely focused on fortifying bilateral relations between the two nations.
