Dubai: Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa met on Tuesday with UAE Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, as well as Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Dubai Deputy Ruler Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the meeting took place on the sidelines of the 2026 Arab Media Summit in Dubai and was attended by Foreign Minister Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani. President al-Sharaa is visiting Dubai to participate as a keynote speaker at the Arab Media Summit.

President al-Sharaa participated in a dialogue titled "Syria of the Future," where discussions focused on Syria's reconstruction efforts, economic opportunities, regional stability, and the role of media.
