TELECOM MINISTER SAYS STILL SEEKING SOLUTIONS FOLLOWING OGERO EMPLOYEES’ REJECTION OF PROPOSED SOCIAL AID

Caretaker Minister of Telecommunications, Johnny Corm, on Thursday stressed that he will continue his efforts to reach a solution to the telecom ordeal caused by the strike of Ogero employees.

“Things have been complicated after the employees refused a proposal to give them a social aid instead of raising the basic salary,” Corm told “Voice of All Lebanon” radio station.

“I will endeavor to reach solutions in order to rescue the country,” he said, warning against the massive toll the strike would take if remedies were not found.
