Beirut: At 5:00 PM today, sirens were activated at the Port of Beirut as part of an operational test, with sounds heard in the surrounding areas.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, this step is part of technical testing and readiness procedures, aimed at ensuring the system's effectiveness and operational preparedness.
