Thousands of supporters of opposition parties demonstrated in Tunisia today to denounce the policy of President Kais Saied and demand his departure, blaming him for the deteriorating economic and social situation in the country, according to AFP.
The demonstration of the “National Salvation Front”, a bloc of opposition parties, roamed main streets in the capital, Tunis, all the way to Habib Bourguiba Street, chanting “Leave, leave,” “O people of the revolution, revolt against Qais the dictator,” and “People want to isolate President” and “Down with the coup.”
