Ankara: Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has been actively engaging in diplomatic conversations over the past four days, seeking to address and resolve ongoing regional and international conflicts. According to Union of OIC News Agencies, Fidan initiated discussions on July 31 with Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan, focusing on the latest regional developments and strategies to cease ongoing conflicts. This was followed by an August 1 conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, where the negotiations aimed at ending regional warfare were the primary topic. Fidan reiterated Turkey's commitment to promoting peace and halting conflicts in the region. Continuing his diplomatic outreach, on August 3, Fidan spoke with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, exploring recent developments in the region. Additionally, Fidan reached out to newly appointed British Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband, congratulating him on his new role and discussing issues in the Middle East, parti cularly the situation in the Gaza Strip, as well as the Russian-Ukrainian conflict and other regional tensions. Turkey's diplomatic efforts remain focused on mitigating conflicts in the Middle East, including the American-Iranian tensions, Israeli actions in the Gaza Strip and West Bank, and Tel Aviv's military activities in Syria and Lebanon.
