Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met with his Iraqi counterpart Fuad Hussein in the capital Ankara. The Turkish Foreign Ministry stated via its account on the "X Today" platform: Minister Fidan met with Deputy Prime Minister, Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein in Ankara in preparation for holding the first meeting of the Turkish-Iraqi Joint Planning Group headed by Fidan and Hussein. Turkish diplomatic sources had explained that the fourth meeting of the Turkish-Iraqi high-level security mechanism will be held in Ankara today, Thursday as well. Fuad Hussein had arrived in the Turkish capital Ankara last night to head the Iraqi delegation to the meetings of the Iraqi-Turkish Joint Cooperation and Planning Group.
