Abu dhabi: The United Arab Emirates announced the closure of its embassy in Tehran and the withdrawal of its ambassador and all members of its diplomatic mission from the Islamic Republic of Iran.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that this decision comes “in response to the blatant Iranian missile attacks targeting the UAE’s territory, which constitute aggressive attacks on civilian sites, including residential areas, airports, ports, and service facilities, endangering innocent civilians in a serious and irresponsible escalation that represents a flagrant violation of national sovereignty and a clear breach of international law and the UN Charter.”
