Beirut: UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed today, during a phone call, cooperation and joint work in all fields that enhance development and progress in both countries and contribute to achieving their common interests, within the framework of the close relations and comprehensive economic partnership that unite both countries, as reported by the Emirates News Agency (WAM).
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, during the call, the two sides also discussed a number of regional and international issues and developments of mutual interest, most notably the latest developments in the Middle East. They affirmed their countries’ commitment to supporting all efforts and endeavors to achieve regional peace and stability, which will lead to growth and prosperity for all peoples of the region.
Both sides stressed “the importance of cooperation and joint action to find solutions to various regional crises through dialogue and diplomatic means, as this is the only way to achieve peace and stability in the region.”
