London: British Home Secretary Yvette Cooper announced that the United Kingdom strongly desires Lebanon to be part of any ceasefire agreements in the Middle East. Cooper made this statement during an interview with Sky News on Thursday.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Cooper expressed her concern over the recent escalation of Israeli attacks in Lebanon. She stated, "We want a ceasefire that extends to Lebanon. I am deeply concerned about the escalating Israeli attacks we witnessed yesterday in Lebanon."
Cooper emphasized the humanitarian impact and significant displacement affecting Lebanon. She concluded with a strong appeal for the ceasefire to encompass Lebanon, highlighting the urgent need for stability and peace in the region.
