Vatican city: Pope Leo XIV said on Tuesday that the Church is proposing that Lebanon’s Hezbollah lay down its arms and engage in dialogue.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, in remarks to “Sky News Arabia”, the Pope explained that the Vatican calls on all conflicting parties to abandon weapons and violence and resort to the dialogue table. The Pope said that “the Church proposes to Hezbollah to lay down its arms and engage in dialogue.”
