The US Director of National Intelligence, Avril Haines, said that Washington has nothing to confirm or deny Kiev’s involvement in the failed drone attack on the Kremlin.

“It is clear that you have seen that the Ukrainian government has denied involvement in these events, and at this stage, we do not have data that would allow an independent assessment,” she added at a US Senate hearing.

Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said earlier that the United States was behind the attack on the Kremlin, and it chose Kiev’s targets.

He described Washington’s attempts to exonerate Kiev as “extremely ridiculous.”
