Dweir: The Israeli enemy carried out a massacre in the southern Lebanese town of Doweir, resulting in the martyrdom of five individuals and injuring nine others in airstrikes carried out by Israeli warplanes. The strikes targeted the home of retired Lebanese Army officer Youssef Rida Rammal in the Al-Aqaba neighborhood of the town. The three-story house was completely destroyed.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the airstrike resulted in the martyrdom of retired officer Youssef Rammal (brother of journalist Daoud Rammal), his wife Nidal Hotait, their daughter, a Syrian man, and his wife. Additionally, nine people were injured, including Ibrahim Rida Rammal, the former head of the Doweir municipality.
The airstrike caused massive destruction in the neighborhood, turning dozens of homes into rubble, in addition to damaging and burning several cars.
Civil Defense teams, the Islamic Rissala Scouts, and the Health Authority rushed to the scene and worked to transfer the injured to nearby hospitals in the area.
Israeli warplanes also carried out an airstrike targeting a house in the al-Taghra neighborhood of Harouf in south Lebanon.
Israeli warplanes also destroyed a building opposite Bilal Fahes High School in Toul. The town of Kawthariyat al-Ruz was also subjected to an airstrike.
