Beirut: Agriculture Minister, Nizar Hani, on Wednesday met with representatives of the Inmaa Baldati Association to discuss cooperation on sustainable rural development, including protecting wild plants, particularly the akkoub plant, and organizing a conference for municipalities and agricultural cooperatives in southern Lebanon.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Hani also met the KARAZ Vision 2030 team to discuss modernizing Lebanon's cherry sector through innovation and technology. Additionally, he reviewed a project to cultivate dragon fruit in Lebanon. The minister reaffirmed the ministry's commitment to supporting innovative initiatives, agricultural investment, and sustainable rural development across the country.
