Beirut: Interior and Municipalities Minister Ahmed Al-Hajjar headed to the Pakistani capital, Islamabad, on Sunday for an official visit at the invitation of Pakistani Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi. Al-Hajjar's visit aims to foster bilateral relations and enhance cooperation between Lebanon and Pakistan.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, Al-Hajjar is accompanied by a high-level delegation including Major General Raed Abdallah, Director-General of the Internal Security Forces; Brigadier General Sami Nassif, Head of the Internal Security Central Council; and Brigadier General Mahmoud Kobrosli, Head of the Internal Security Forces' Information Branch. The delegation's presence underscores the significance of the discussions anticipated during this visit.

Al-Hajjar is slated to engage with senior Pakistani officials to explore strategies for strengthening the partnership between the two countries amidst current challenges facing Lebanon and the broader region. The dialogue will also cover issues of mutual interest, reflecting the importance of collaboration in addressing shared concerns.
