Beirut:President Joseph Aoun held discussions with Banque du Liban Governor Karim Souaid focusing on monetary stability, financial sector conditions, and strategies to combat illicit funds and terrorist financing.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, the meeting also addressed the ongoing financial and banking reform process.

Governor Souaid provided President Aoun with updates on his recent engagements with senior French Treasury officials in France and shared insights from his latest visit to Abu Dhabi.
