Beirut: President Joseph Aoun denounced the targeting of the oil pipeline extending from the east to the west of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, considering it a blatant attack on the resources and national security of the sisterly Kingdom, and a desperate attempt to undermine the region's stability and threaten the interests of its peoples.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, President Aoun affirmed that "Lebanon stands with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its wise leadership and brotherly people, in the face of anything that might threaten its security, stability, and the safety of its vital facilities."

The President reaffirmed "full and steadfast solidarity with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, as well as with all measures taken by the Kingdom to protect its sovereignty, national resources and vital infrastructure."

Aoun also emphasized that "the historic and deep-rooted fraternal ties between Lebanon and the Saudi Kingdom necessitate standing united against all attempts to destabilize regional security," calling upon the international community to "assume its responsibilities in confronting such attacks, which threaten global energy security and the stability of the entire region."
