Beirut: President of the Republic, Joseph Aoun, on Tuesday told Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans that “Lebanon’s stability serves Europe’s interests,” stressing the need for Israel to abide by the November 2024 agreement, as “Lebanon has fulfilled all its obligations and remains committed despite ongoing Israeli violations.”

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the President also welcomed former U.S. Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs and former Ambassador to Lebanon David Hale. Their discussions focused on Lebanon’s internal situation, developments in the south, and evolving regional dynamics.
