Beirut:President of the Republic Joseph Aoun has called upon Cassation Public Prosecutor Judge Ahmad Rami Al-Hajj to step up legal measures against individuals involved in fraudulent activities and the unlawful trade of medicines, food products, and spoiled meat.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, Aoun emphasized the importance of close coordination with relevant ministries and government authorities to ensure the safety of food and pharmaceutical products.

Aoun's call to action highlights the need for stringent measures to combat fraud in the sectors critical to public health and safety.
