Yarzeh: Army Commander, General Rudolphe Haykal, received the Italian Joint Operations Commander, Lieutenant General Giovanni Maria Iannucci, at his office in Yarzeh, accompanied by a delegation and the Italian Ambassador to Lebanon, Fabrizio Marcelli. The discussions centered on the general situation and current developments, with a focus on supporting the army amidst the challenges it faces, as well as exploring available options for the post-UNIFIL phase.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the Army Chief also met with MP Charbel Maroun to review current developments. During this meeting, MP Maroun expressed appreciation for the military institution's role, emphasizing the importance of supporting the army in maintaining civil peace in the country.
