Army Chief Welcomes New French Ambassador in Introductory Meeting

Beirut: Army Commander, General Rudolph Haykal, received today French Ambassador to Lebanon, Patrick Durel, at his office in Yarzeh. The visit was of an introductory nature marking the start of the French Ambassador's tenure in Lebanon, accompanied by the Military Attach©, Colonel Bruno Costantini.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, during the meeting, Ambassador Durel emphasized the importance of supporting the Lebanese Army amidst the current conditions, expressing his appreciation for the military institution's role in maintaining stability in the country.

Discussions also covered preparations for the conference in France aimed at supporting the Army.
