According to National news agency - Lebanon, discussions during the meeting covered the latest developments. General Haykal expressed gratitude to France for hosting the preparatory meeting for the international conference in support of the Lebanese Army and for its efforts to ensure the conference's success.

Additionally, General Haykal met with UK Defence Senior Advisor to the Middle East and North Africa, Admiral Edward Ahlgren. The discussions focused on developments in Lebanon and the region, highlighting the importance of the Lebanese Army's role in maintaining the country's security and stability.
