Army Defuses Unexploded Aerial Bombs from Israeli Strikes in Southern Lebanon

Beirut: Lebanese Army Command said on Friday that a specialized unit dismantled two unexploded aerial bombs left over from Israeli strikes in southern Lebanon.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, a statement issued by the Army Command's Orientation Directorate indicated that the ordnance was found in the towns of Shaqra (Bint Jbeil district) and Jouaya (Tyre district). Army engineers safely defused the devices and transferred them to a secure location for further handling.

The army statement urged citizens to practice maximum caution in areas that were previously subjected to Israeli attacks and to report any suspicious objects to the nearest military post.
