Army Engineering Unit on Msaileh Strike: Unexploded Rocket to Be Removed Safely

Beirut: The Lebanese Army Engineering Regiment issued a statement regarding the unexploded rocket from the Israeli airstrike on Msaileh, confirming: ‘We will wait 72 hours before moving it to a safe location. It will not be detonated in the Msaileh area.’

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the army has assured that the 72-hour waiting period is necessary to ensure the safe removal and transportation of the unexploded rocket. During this time, the area will be secured to prevent any potential danger to the residents and surrounding environment. The regiment emphasized that the operation will prioritize public safety and minimize disruption to the local community.

The statement by the army comes in the wake of heightened tensions following the airstrike, which left the rocket undetonated in a populated area. The engineering unit is coordinating with local authorities to implement safety measures and provide updates to the community on the progress of the removal operation.
