Beirut: House Speaker Nabih Berri on Thursday received UK Deputy National Security Adviser, Barbara Woodward, and her accompanying delegation at Ain El-Tineh. The meeting was attended by British Ambassador to Lebanon, Hamish Cowell. Discussions reportedly centered on the latest political and security developments, as well as the bilateral relations between Lebanon and the United Kingdom.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, Speaker Berri also welcomed the Acting head of the United Nations Special Coordinator's Office for Lebanon, Jean Arnault, who visited for a protocol meeting upon taking on his new responsibilities. The UN Humanitarian Coordinator for Lebanon, Imran Riza, was also present. The meeting served as an opportunity to review developments and UN programs in Lebanon.
