Beirut: House Speaker Nabih Berri engaged with several political figures at the Second Presidency headquarters in Ain al-Tineh, including a delegation from the 'Jamaa Islamiyya' politburo. The delegation was led by politburo head Dr. Ali Abu Yassin and included Deputy Head Dr. Bassam Hammoud and Jamaa Islamiya media office head Dr. Wael Najm.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, discussions focused on the general situation and the latest political and field developments, particularly concerning Israel's ongoing actions against Lebanon and violations of the ceasefire agreement. Dr. Abu Yassin emphasized the importance of holding the upcoming parliamentary elections on schedule.

In separate meetings, Speaker Berri met with former ministers Samir Jisr and Johnny Qorm to discuss recent political developments and general affairs. Additionally, Berri signed 14 laws that Parliament had approved in its sessions on 29 September and 18 December 2025, subsequently forwarding them to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.
